Introduction

Interior spaces are shaped long before the final details are introduced

Column and Canvas exists to complete that process thoughtfully

From sculptural objects and soft furnishings to contemporary artwork and commissioned pieces, each selection is made to work in harmony with the architecture, material palette, and atmosphere of the home

The result is a cohesive interior that feels considered, balanced, and complete

History

Column and Canvas was established in 2026, the evolution of a long standing interest in interiors and the final layer that completes a space.

This focus developed gradually through personal home styling and exposure to property development projects where decisions around materials, proportion and finishing details were a consistent point of attention.

Over time, a clear perspective emerged. While architecture and interior design define the structure of a home, it is the finishing touches, the objects, artworks, textures and considered placements, that shape how a space is experienced.

Column and Canvas was created with this in mind.

The studio is dedicated to contemporary artwork and refined finishing pieces for modern interiors, selected with attention to architecture, light and spatial balance. Each project is approached as a cohesive whole whether completing a single room or curating an entire property.

Working across the UK and Europe, Column and Canvas sources from independent creatives, galleries, makers and suppliers, alongside commissioned works where a more tailored response is required.

The work spans private residential projects and developer led homes with a consistent intent. To bring clarity, cohesion and restraint to the final layer of the interior.
